What the hell is wrong with people?

I really don’t think that the world needed such a horrifying nude rendition of the stupidest vice presidential candidate we’ve ever had. The fact that the guy claims to have worked on the portrait for seven to eight hours a day for a week really throws me off… with that kind of effort, I’m relatively sure I could at least make her not look like Peggy Hill.

New York artist Kevin Cyr’s automobile portraits crack me up, though their pseudo photorealistic and somewhat cartoon-esque style is really impressive.

Interesting small format oil paintings with intricate detail… I could be him. The interesting part, to me, is his method of representation/selling – seems to be 100% ebay. Not to mention that it seems to be paying off well, as he’s sold a few of his recent 8″x8″s for upwards of $700.
